The little black dress

Hi everyone! How was your Christmas break? For me everything was for the best, I had a lot of presents and I spent quality time with my family.

It wasn’t easy this year because I wasn’t really in the spirit of Christmas. I only watched 2 Christmas movies on Netflix and I barely decorated my apartment. Everyone asked me if I something was wrong because I’m usually the one who brings the Christmas spirit into the family! Even the street decor next to our street, which were a little sad, didn’t help us get into the holliday mod.

What I like about the holiday season is that you can afford to dress a little more sophisticated than the rest of the year. Personally, I don’t like all that glitters and I like to buy an outfit that I will be able to hand over afterwards. But I also like my over-the-top Christmas sweaters! I didn’t have one this year but I will do better next year and find the ugliest of them all!

The outfit

I hadn’t worn a little black dress for the longest time. In recent years, I find it hard to find a dress that suits me and that I find pretty at the same time. When I bought this Zara dress, I didn’t think it was going to do well at all. And yet, it’s perfect! The length is perfect, and the bottom details change a bit compared to all the dresses we see right now. In addition, my darling had a real crush when he saw me wearing it 😉

I think the little black dress is perfect for the end of the year. You can easily wear it at work or at a party. For the end of the year, it can be easily associated with shoes a little more festive or with glitter accessories!

I had never done an outfit with these Jonak boots yet. For the story I had a big crush on these boots in late September and I took them as soon as I saw them in the shop! The height of the heels is great because you can walk a good part of the day with it (as long as you’re not hiking of course ^^). I like to associate them with jeans to lengthen the leg.

And you, what is your ideal outfit for holiday season?
